Veneer is a traditional material for facing or finishing furniture and doors, made of thin cut-off wood. Depending on the features of production, the veneer is classified into rotary-cut (it is produced by wood veneer rotary cutting machines), planed (the result of planing bars) and sawn (made by sawing).
Rotary-cut veneer
Rotary-cut veneer is produced by cutting the layers of wood in a circular way (spiral) with a cylindrical chock rotating on the machine, therefore this type of veneer has the greatest width. Usually we use such species of wood as birch or pine for the production of rotary-cut veneer.
Rotary-cut veneer is not the best option, if you want an original appearance and unusual surface design. In most cases, the decorative qualities of peeled veneer are very limited, unless we are talking about the use of curly wood, in which the even structure of the fibres is disturbed.
Peeled veneer from birch and pine, depending on the quality of wood, processing and purpose is divided into eight types: A, AB, B, BB, C, the first, second and third. The moisture content of the veneer is 8±2%. Normally, we produce rotary cut veneer of birch in the format: 1600mm * 1600mm * 1.5mm.
We can deliver different sizes on a buy-order basis. Please, send a request to specify the cost and the delivery options.
Basically, birch veneer is used for the production of plywood and bent-glued furniture products.
Planed veneer
Planed veneer is produced by cutting (planing) the beam with special cutting machine and thus the size of the veneer is equal to the width of the beam. Therefore, the more curved and thinner trees are used for veneer, the smaller are the sizes of pieces produced. We use such species of wood as oak, beech, birch, pine, ash, linden, maple, walnut and larch for the manufacture of planed veneer.
Depending on the direction of planing to the annual rings of wood, the veneer is divided into radial, semi-radial, tangent and tangent-end type. In pine veneer there are only radial and semi-radial varieties.
Sliced veneer is a universal option for finishing furniture facades, because this technology is best able to convey all the wealth and beauty of wood texture. Since the wood slices can be produced at different angles to the longitudinal and transverse plane of the wood, each veneer panel has its own unique texture.
Standard sizes: 0,6 / 0,7 / 1,0 / 1,5 mm * 100-200 * 1000-3000 mm.

Sawn veneer (lamella)
The sawn veneer is the oldest version of this material, known to people for more than one hundred years. In ancient times, sawn veneer, made of precious wood, was used for making incrustations, and since these were real professionals, every object with veneer inlay was rightly considered a work of art.
We offer sawn veneer of oak, beech, ash, maple, walnut, alder and cherry. The thickness ranges from 3.6 mm to 12.9 mm.
Standard veneer sizes of our manufacture: 4,5 mm * 80-210 mm * 1000-3200 mm.

The sawn veneer has a very wide application:
- Top layer in the production of furniture and carpentry (finishing material).
- A blank for interior doors and wooden portals (practical equivalent of solid wood doors).
- Manufacture of bent-glued products – stair railings, arched windows, musical instruments.
- Panels for the production of steps;Noble top layer in the manufacture of parquet boards.
- Decorating the walls of the apartment, finishing the doorways and other design applications.
In addition, sawn veneer, or lamella will help you in a wide range of decorative and restoration works – production of decorative boxes and other souvenirs.
